Summer program targets students who are gifted and their teachers

A North Carolina summer program is offering more education options for students who are gifted and giving teachers additional training in educating advanced students. East Carolina University and Pitt County Schools sponsor the camp, and educators say it is an opportunity for teachers to test their lesson plans in a classroom setting.
