Surgery helps end pain for MALS patients

The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital is offering surgery to help patients with median arcuate ligament syndrome, a constriction of the celiac artery during digestion. Dr. Donald Liu uses a laparoscopic procedure to repair the ligament, ending the pain and loss of appetite MALS patients experience.
