IBM delves deep into HIT with $100 million project

IBM is tapping more than 100 of its own researchers and hiring nurses, engineers and other experts to develop health care tools and processes for the medical industry as part of a three-year, $100 million program. It aims to develop personalized treatment methodologies, streamline delivery of health care services, and create new incentives and models so that the health care system rewards medical staff based on patient outcomes.
