Java's volcanoes become increasingly popular tourist draws

Hiking up a volcano is not a typical tourist activity, but the volcanoes on the Indonesian island of Java have managed to lure visitors from the resorts of Bali. More than 93,000 visitors saw Indonesia's Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park, a volcano preserve, last year. High-end hotels have opened to cater to volcano tourism.
