Job losses continue to plague construction industry

The construction industry is continuing to struggle with job losses in an economy that analysts warn is not recovering as much as the White House indicates. Construction employment hit a 14-year low in June with a loss of 22,000 jobs, though in Minnesota job losses have slowed from 2,200 in May to 900 in June. Economists say that while the stimulus package has created jobs, it likely hasn't created nearly as many as the 3.6 million positions that the White House claims.
