Ad holding company Omnicom announced plans to buy online display advertising using Google's ad exchange, in an arrangement that is expected to involve hundreds of millions of dollars in ad buys on behalf of Omnicom clients such as PepsiCo and Anheuser-Busch InBev. The move represents a win for Google, which has been looking to diversify its ad revenue stream to involve display and video along with search. "We've turned the engineering fire hose at Google toward display advertising. This is really another milestone in our investment," said Google Vice President Neal Mohan.
