Study finds no link between Mediterranean diet, low asthma rates

A study of almost 15,000 children in countries on the Mediterranean Sea failed to establish a relationship between the children's diet, which typically consists of fish, fruits and vegetables, and the low asthma rates in the area. Further research is needed before "definitive advice about any protective effect of diet on asthma" can be given, the study co-author said.
