The U.S. News & World Report's list of the country's top hospitals receives a lot of attention from the health care industry, but there have been criticisms that it relies more on reputation rather than quality of care and patient outcomes. However, until a more objective method for evaluating hospitals becomes available, the list will do, Tami Dennis writes.
