Voter registration to be more accessible at N.Y.'s public universities

Students with disabilities attending public universities in New York state will have better access to voter-registration services, part of the settlement of a lawsuit between the university system and the Justice Department. The legal case began in 2004, when the department filed suit against the state over its lack of on-campus voter registration for students with disabilities.
