Teacher uses "Harry Potter" to excite students about literature

A New Mexico teacher is seeking to capitalize on excitement surrounding the release of the final movie in the "Harry Potter" series by hosting a party for students to celebrate the books and films. Later, elementary-school teacher Celeste Murray said, students will compare the movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" with the book. This isn't the first time she has used "Harry Potter" in the classroom. Each year, she reads the first book in the series to students, gives them acceptance letters to Hogwarts and assigns projects based on each chapter.
