U.K. report finds low glucose control in children with diabetes

A report from the National Diabetes Pediatric Audit found that more 85% of children and young adults with diabetes in England and Wales do not achieve recommended blood glucose levels. Experts said that about 20,000 young patients were not receiving sufficient care to achieve good glucose control and that those ages 12 to 24 had the highest rates of blood glucose.
