Peregrine CEO is arrested, accused of fraud

Peregrine Financial Group CEO Russell Wasendorf Sr. was arrested. Prosecutors said the 64-year-old admitted stealing more than $100 million from clients of the futures brokerage. In a note found after a failed suicide attempt, Wasendorf reportedly confessed to embezzling from customers and defrauding banks for almost two decades.
