Australian company writes off $145M in excess wine

Australian company Treasury Wine Estates announced that it will write off $145 million to destroy thousands of gallons of excess or expired wines in the U.S. market. The write-off is a major blow to the company's net income for 2013, and Treasury Wine expects to decrease its shipments to the U.S. market the 2014 fiscal year.
