Bias claims may grow after Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage

The U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning part of the Defense of Marriage Act won't make it easier for gay and lesbian workers to file discrimination claims based on their sexual orientation, but it could lead to more gender-based bias claims, legal experts say. A federal law that protects workers who don't conform to gender stereotypes could be applied in cases involving workers in same-sex marriages.
