There are several foods that, when served together, are both tasty and have enhanced nutritional value, writes Patricia Bannan, a registered dietitian specializing in nutrition and health communications. Among the food combinations she recommends in this commentary are tomatoes and olive oil, turmeric and black pepper, green tea and lemon, eggs and cheese, garlic and fish and oatmeal and blueberries.
