Classifying your summer workers correctly

If you want to hire and pay students to work for your business during the summer, you must make sure you classify them correctly, writes Karen E. Klein. They will probably count as employees rather than independent contractors if you create schedules for them, give them assignments to complete and have them come into the office, according to Harvey Bookstein of accounting firm RBZ.
