Mass. teacher's trip leads to more lessons about the Korean Peninsula

A trip to South Korea is giving Brad Walker, a social studies teacher at Needham High School in Needham Heights, Mass., ideas for two weeks of lessons about the history of the Korean Peninsula. Thanks to funding from the New York-based Korea Society, Walker visited Confucian temples, colleges and the demilitarized border between North and South Korea. Walker said prior to the trip, he devoted just one class to the subject.
