Mo. Senate panel told Medicaid should be expanded

A Missouri Senate panel tasked with gathering public input on improving Medicaid heard testimony that expanding the state's program was needed to increase access to preventive care and to lower costs. Committee Republicans said the hearing was held to find ways to improve Medicaid, not necessarily expand it, but some people testifying said expansion was one of the top improvements needed.
