Mobile ads are commonly recalled, survey shows

More than three-quarters of mobile Web users say they recall seeing a mobile ad in the past month, as do nearly half of all cellphone users, including those with feature phones, according to a Mintel survey. The rate of recall is highest in the 18-to-24 age bracket, at 91%. Growth is expected to accelerate as "consumers will still be acquiring their first smartphones and tablets through 2015," said Mintel senior analyst Billy Hulkower.
