Mobile dominates among online shoppers for gas, convenience stores

Gas and convenience store searchers convert to purchasers at a 90% rate -- and two-thirds of these shoppers say that when they search for such stores, they only do so via mobile, according to Nielsen research for mobile ad network xAd/Telmetrics. "With the majority of searchers open to purchase options, advertisers have a strong opportunity to influence mobile gas [and] convenience buying decisions," said Monica Ho, vice president for marketing at xAd.
