Nikon app couples with Facebook for community engagement

The My Nikon World application integrates with a Facebook community to allow photographers to organize and share their best work by subject and technique, writes Aaron Baar. Nikon will also invite pro photographers to challenge others in the community to earn badges and points. "We see this as a great opportunity to learn from our community about how and what they enjoy engaging with and value their input to keep it relevant to their needs," says Lisa Baxt, Nikon associate general manager of communications.
