Obama calls for calm after jury clears Zimmerman

Demonstrators took to the streets across the country over the weekend to protest the clearance of George Zimmerman, the killer of Trayvon Martin, on both murder and manslaughter charges. "I know this case has elicited strong passions," President Barack Obama said. "But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken." Pastors and campaigners called for continued activism in the wake of the racially charged trial.
