Official: Fla. airport needs new hangars to attract firm

If the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport wants to attract a top-tier aerospace company, it will need new hangars, said Neal Wade, director of the Bay County Economic Development Alliance. The airport is contending for a contract with one company that could bring 700 jobs to the area. "We have to have hangars to accommodate 747s (or smaller) or we will not compete," said Wade.
