Report: Apple is talking with cable firms about ad-skipping device

Apple is developing a set-top box that would allow viewers to skip commercials for an additional fee, according to a report from tech writer Jessica Lessin. Apple is pitching cable companies on the service, which would pay networks for each time commercials are skipped, according to the report.
