Teacher strives to take the guilt out of job changes

Megan Allen, 2010 Florida Teacher of the Year, has gone from a fifth-grade special-education classroom to a university position to a hybrid teaching and leadership post to this coming school year working in teacher education at Mount Holyoke College. Allen writes in this blog post that the move has her feeling guilty about leaving the classroom and reflecting on the benefits of school-based teacherpreneur roles, which allow educators to grow professionally and remain in the classroom.
