Why DreamWorks' CEO is happy playing second fiddle

DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg is increasingly taking a back seat to Chief Creative Officer Bill Damaschke when it comes to which movies to greenlight and which direction to take a production. Katzenberg says he's learned that Damaschke's taste is better than his own, and employees say they appreciate Katzenberg's willingness to give them free rein. "As Jeffrey has gained experience and age, and DreamWorks has grown, he has stepped back and allowed other people to run creative," says director Brenda Chapman.
