Wind project in Mexico to get 34 turbines from Alstom

France's Alstom won a contract to install 34 wind turbines for the second phase of a wind farm that Enel Green Power is building in Mexico's Oaxaca state. The facility, which is due to enter service at the end of 2014, is expected to produce 350 gigawatt hours of electricity annually. The transaction marks Alstom's first foray into the Mexican wind-power market.
