Experts seek uniform pediatric imaging standards

The Mayo Clinic and other institutions are calling for three standards to be implemented during pediatric imaging studies in an effort to protect children from unnecessary procedures and limit their radiation exposure. They say the practices should be required of facilities seeking accreditation, including hospitals and advanced imaging centers.
