Ill. students spend week serving area organizations

Students in Illinois recently spent a week helping area organizations through the SOUL (service, opportunity, understanding and leadership) Academy. The program was designed to help students learn how to serve their community, which benefited from student-led activities such as sorting goods at a food bank, visiting a nursing home and holding a car wash benefit.
