Republican ENDA co-sponsor supports religious exemptions

Rep. Charlie Dent, R-Pa., said Monday that he opposes a rewrite of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act despite several LGBT groups dropping support of the bill over its religious exemptions. Dent, who is one of the eight Republican co-sponsors of ENDA, said changing the bill would weaken the likelihood of attracting crossover support.
