Increased animal fat consumption associated with higher breast cancer rates

A study in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute finds that women who consumed the highest proportion of animal fats increased their risks of breast cancer by 33%. Plant-derived fats, such as olive oil, did not affect a woman's risk for developing breast cancer.
