Los Angeles students propose urban redevelopment

The UrbanPlan program provided four schools in Los Angeles with an innovative learning experience; students learned the ins and outs of urban planning, using $40 million in on-paper money to redevelop a 5.5 block area. The teams of students presented their proposals to urban planning experts to compete for a $10,000 scholarship.
