New "What Works" site showcases standards-based research

The Department of Education's new What Works Clearinghouse offers researchers and educators reviews of scientifically-based programs and strategies to help them in their decision-making. The site currently lists 10 studies on peer-assisted learning strategies and middle school math programs, although 90 more are due to be posted this summer.
