Studies: Diabetes drugs may have potential for Alzheimer's treatment

Some recent studies raise the possibility that drugs used to treat diabetes could be used to lower the risk of Alzheimer's or possibly even treat the disorder in Alzheimer's patients, even those without diabetes. The studies provide added evidence that Type 2 diabetes, usually related to obesity, and Alzheimer's disease are linked.
