Study: Combo including Enbrel works for rheumatoid arthritis

A combination of Enbrel, Amgen's anti-inflammatory drug, and methotrexate proved effective in abating the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis in about 50% of patients after a year of treatment, according to a new study. Researchers also found that the combination treatment cut patients' work stoppage nearly threefold compared with methotrexate alone.
