Study: Learning of Alzheimer's gene doesn't cause stress

A study of 162 adult children who had a parent with Alzheimer's disease found they didn't suffer psychological distress when told they carried a gene that increased their risk of the disease. The study also found, however, people who were told they didn't carry the gene had reduced anxiety and depression.
