UN worker gunned down in Pakistan

A Pakistani man working for the United Nations and a security guard have died at a refugee camp near Peshawar in what appears to be a botched kidnap attempt. Zil-e-Usman was a field officer for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, which is leading efforts to aid the 2 million Pakistanis displaced by recent hostilities between government forces and the Taliban.
