Unemployment could delay recovery at least 5 years, Fed warns

Dragged down by unemployment that is expected to exceed 10%, the economy might take five or six years to fully recovery from the effects of the recession, the Federal Reserve said. In its latest forecast, the Fed expressed confidence in a return to growth but doubted it would lead to new employment anytime soon.
