The Environmental Protection Agency's proposed ban on avgas would harm Alaska, according to Alaska pilot Lars Gleitsmann. About 82% of the state's settlements cannot be reached by the national road system, and many residents rely on general aviation for transport. "EPA needs to ban alcohol in premium gas, not lead in 100LL," writes Gleitsmann.
