Boeing: Delivery of first 787 may be pushed into 2011

Boeing reports that while it still intends to deliver its first 787 Dreamliner to Japan's ANA by the end of this year, the first delivery could be pushed into 2011 due to inspections and instrument changes on the flight test aircraft. Boeing has orders for 863 of the twin-aisle jets, and the delay would be only the latest in a series of setbacks for the jet, the first of which was originally planned for delivery in 2008.
