Bombardier competes in midsize jet market with new CSeries jet

Montreal-based Bombardier is expected to announce additional orders for its upcoming CSeries jet, a new plane that can seat up to 150 passengers and make international flights. The jet represents direct new competition with Boeing and Airbus in the midsized jet category, and Bombardier, which has staked its future and reputation on the aircraft, says it is close to signing several deals.
