Caution recommended with increased use of UAVs, FAA says

In testimony before a House Homeland Security subcommittee, FAA official Nancy Kalinowski said "the FAA must make conservative decisions" about integrating unmanned aerial vehicles. Unmanned aircraft used for Customs and Border Protection have an accident rate seven times greater than general aviation aircraft, according to federal officials.
