Experts: A lot of work is needed to establish possible XMRV-CFS link

It would take a long time and a lot of work to be able to come up with evidence pointing to a potential XMRV virus-chronic fatigue syndrome connection, experts said during a webinar sponsored by the CFIDS Association of America. Conducting larger studies that involve 500 to 1,000 participants is called for to get crucial data, and there's also a need to be more consistent with diagnosis and treatment of CFS patients, the experts said.
