MediaCom wins Travelers media assignment

WPP Group's MediaCom has landed media planning and buying duties for The Travelers, outside of a review. Incumbents for the account, for which 2009 spending was $83 million, not including digital, were Publicis Groupe's Spark, Chicago, for buying, and sibling Fallon, Minneapolis, for planning.
