Boeing outpaces Airbus with orders at Farnborough

Boeing and Airbus won $52 billion in orders at last week's Farnborough International Airshow in the U.K. Boeing received 396 orders and commitments at the show, and Airbus received 115. "With shrinking budgets domestically, the U.S. aerospace industry is looking for business opportunities abroad, and the Farnborough air show once again proved a good place for companies of all sizes and nationalities to meet," said Alexis Allen, a spokeswoman for the Aerospace Industries Association.
