Advocate for financial advisers' SRO leaving SEC soon

The Securities and Exchange Commission's most vocal supporter for a self-regulatory organization to oversee financial advisers, Elisse Walter, is set to be depart, possibly as soon as August. Democrat Kara Stein, a Senate aide, is poised to replace her once the Senate has confirmed her nomination by President Barack Obama.
