BLET members, Pacific Harbor Line agree to new, 4-year contract

More than 100 members of the Long Beach, Calif.-based Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen and Pacific Harbor Line, Inc., have agreed to a new four-year contract. Maintenance-of-way and operating employees who work at the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles ratified the contract that increases their wages, ups their share of health care costs and changes overtime rules.
