Brazilian medtech regulator works to accelerate device registration

ANVISA, Brazil's medtech regulatory agency, has issued a document outlining 16 performance objectives that it aims to meet through June 30 of next year. These include cutting down to five working days the time it takes to reject or accept medical-device imports and releasing within 90 days initial reviews of medtech petitions.
