Colo. county sheriff gets hotels' help to reduce crime

Larimer County, Colo., Sheriff Justin Smith is working with hotels along Mulberry Street east of Fort Collins to make the neighborhood safer. Operation New Dawn aims for long-term cleanup of the neighborhood, which has been plagued by illegal drugs, assaults and prostitution. The Sheriff's Office says calls to the neighborhood declined by 20% in the first few months of the program.
