Escargot facial may be just hogwash

The Celebrity Escargot Course offered by a spa in Tokyo probably does not live up to claims of facial rejuvenation, dermatologists say. The hyaluronan left behind as snails slide around on the spa consumer's face is unlikely to be absorbed and have any lasting impact, says Vanderbilt University professor and dermatologist William Stebbins.
